Molly Darling

Molly Darling brings to CPD her ability to combine strategic marketing and communications positioning with traditional consulting services such as process reengineering, strategic analysis, and economic modeling. As President of Cephas Consulting for more than a decade, Molly managed projects for Fortune 500 telecommunications, internet, financial services, real estate, and manufacturing companies, including:

  • Strategic design and overall management of the national rollout of a complex revenue management tool for a multi-family housing company

  • Oversight of HR policy integration between two merging national real-estate firms

  • Creation and implementation of the core corporate message for a financial services firm

  • Analysis of market positioning, customer service, staffing, marketing, and growth opportunities for a manufacturing company

  • Design and creation of a multi-stage orientation program for new telecommunications employees

  • Creation and production of a comprehensive sales training program for a national financial services company sales team

Molly began her career on Capitol Hill, where she served as speechwriter, Director of Research, and Deputy Chief of Staff for US Rep. Amo Houghton, the first Fortune 500 CEO to ever serve in the US House of Representatives. Her corporate career began when she joined Symmetrix, Inc., a Boston-based consulting firm specializing in reengineering. In addition to serving as lead consultant on numerous client engagements, Molly also initiated, designed, and managed delivery of Symmetrix’s first web site and served as chief editor for Symmetrix, creating and implementing proposals, marketing programs, speeches, and media materials.

Molly was selected as a Crown Fellow by the Aspen Institute in 2000 and holds a B.A. with Honors in Political Science from Haverford College, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University, and a Master of Divinity from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, an Episcopal seminary.
